Background to the creation of the column

I'm Nanshan, a marketer with a background in psychology but growing in the business world, and the director of the "Rethink" email newsletter. During my studies in the US, I was the only Chinese student to enter a psychoanalysis class, and was praised by my professors as a student who combined psychology and psychoanalysis very well. In the graduate counseling program, I was named the most gifted student in counseling.

Since July 2023, I have enabled nearly 500 people from all walks of life to gain new insights into psychology and counseling through electronic communication, enhancing their understanding of self and society.
